Insanity: Day 5, Pure Cardio

Current Feeling: Like Death 

Holy Canoli. I’m ill, have been sick for the last four days and I thought I was getting better. Today I felt it a little more in my chest so I’m hoping it is not turning into anything worse, but overall I feel way better than this weekend. Pushed myself through Pure Cardio today and so glad I did. I’m off tomorrow, so I didn’t feel as bad pushing myself through today’s workout when I knew I could recover tomorrow. Regardless, I still feel like i’m about to die. 

Insanity: Day 4 Cardio Recovery

this has one rough start back onto my insanity schedule. After getting through the first three days, I ended up getting really sick and haven’t left the house for the last three days. I was taking decongestions and other medicines, which left me coma like on the couch in front of the tv. i still feel moderately crappy today but not nearly as bad as i did over the weekend. i got up and did cardio recovery today, to get myself back in the swing. yes, this is an easier video of mostly stretching, but i needed something to get myself back into the swing and not with a full immersion like one of the other videos would have been.  tomorrow i’ll be back on track with pure cardio and will take it from there. hopefully i don’t have to go to the doctor this week and these over the counter meds do the trick. fingers crossed.

dripping in sweat. seriously don’t know how my muscles held up through today’s workout with how sore i was this morning. sure i’ll be paying the price later but thats what you get when you start doing insanity ;p

helloooo beautiful people! day two of insanity complete and ready to take on the day. my goodness gracious can i already start to see my mood changing after only two days. it is unreal what this program can do for you :)

here are my stats for finishing week four of burn circuit 2. like i mentioned earlier. i will be repeating week 4, so a total of 5 weeks will have been spent on the burn phase of CE. this is because last week I wasn’t on top of things and I want to make sure I am where I need to be before I end up moving on to the push phase :)

I will make the time to hang out with her 5 days a week because I need her in my life and my body and mind all feel so much better when I do. heading upstairs to drink my shakeology! can’t believe I can literally drink something so healthy and have it taste exactly like a green tea frappacino from starbucks. now that is insane. doctors appointment then working till late late late. see ya laterrrr :)

HOLY SHIZNIZ DOES IT FEEL GOOD! just did burn circuit 1 for my fourth week of chalean extreme. can’t believe its been that long. since i slacked off last week and haven’t been eating or working out to my max, i’ve decided that i am going to do 5 weeks of Month 1, before I move on to the next phase of ChaLEAN Extreme. I want to make sure I am at my MAX before I advance and know that this is the right decision for me. 

I actually feel really strong today and proud of how much weight I was able to still lift after not doing much last week. It feels great knowing much progress was not lost. This gives me more incentive to focus on my eating this week because that is where I am going to start seeing the difference. 

Time to go eat a hearty breakfast and then get ready for work :)

i’ve fallen off the bandwagon if i do say so over the last two weeks. two weeks ago it was bad/unhealthy eating and this last week its been struggling to fit in my exercise. i ran (mostly walked) the color run yesterday with my cousins and it was really fun. not so much trying to get the color chalk off of me or it getting all over my car, but the event itself was a lot of fun. there were so many people there that if you were seriously trying to run it that would have been really difficult.  we ran a few portions but mostly just walked it and had fun along the way splashing one another with paint. starting monday i am starting a new set of goals for myself. i will be getting back on track with ChaLEAN Extreme, drinking shakeology every day for either lunch or breakfast, and tracking my eating once again. I am going to go to the supermarket tomorrow and get some meals ready to make during the week for myself that are in line with the meal plan suggested to me by Beach Body. I need to get back on track and need to be very strict about what i put in my body and sticking with my workouts. For me the harder of the two is the eating. Exercising is simple, its just planning and allotting the necessary time and scheduling myself accordingly in advance depending on my work schedule. Here is to getting back on track and reaching my goals. I am not going to let two weeks of poor excerise/eating derail me from my life long journey.
